Beautiful Holiday Tablescape on a Budget

Hi guys! Today, I wanted to just quickly pop in and share a really easy and inexpensive table-scape that you can quickly and easily recreate for your holiday tables!  This particular table-scape I created was really inexpensive as most things came from the Dollar Tree! I wanted to show that it’s super simple to create a beautiful table-scape on a budget! My budget for this project was around $10 and I totally made it happen for wayyyy less than that, and you can too!  It’s perfect for both Thanksgiving (if you’re in the US and celebrate it this time of year), Christmas or really, any winter holiday you may celebrate! Just…

    Thrifted DIY: $10 Challenge

Good afternoon and happy Saturday! [adToAppearHere] Today, I’m bringing you a really fun DIY!  I honestly don’t know where the idea for a $10 challenge came from other than the fact that this week, before we head to Orlando, we’re on a bit of a budget.  So, in an attempt to still be able to do a fun DIY, I figured only spending $10 was the perfect way to be able to do that while still staying within a reasonable budget. Really what I want to show here is that a really good DIY doesn’t need to be done from brand new items bought at a craft store.  I definitely know…

    DIY Welcome Mat

Happy Monday, friends!  Okay, okay…so maybe it’s not a happy Monday for everyone…it is Monday after all. But, what better way to celebrate the start of another week than a super fun and simple DIY? This DIY was inspired by the door mat that I’m sure you all have seen roaming around the inter webs.  It says something like “If you’re Amazon, a babysitter, or Joanna Gaines, we’re home”.  Well..the hubby and I loved that one so much that we figured we should recreate it to fit us.  So I took out “babysitter” and just kept the rest. Kind of a fun side note though before we begin!  Ryan and…

    DIY In-Ground House Number Post

Hello there, beautiful people! Today’s post is short but is an extension of sorts from my Spring front yard clean up.  Today I’m sharing a super easy and cheap DIY to solve the problem we had with our house numbers. Since we moved in back in 2015, I’ve had a lot of people tell me that our house numbers are really hard to see, especially at night time.  So, in the wake of our front yard clean up, I decided to fix this problem.  Really, it was quite an easy fix and super inexpensive too. [adToAppearHere] So to begin, you’ll need just a few things.  You’ll need house numbers (this…

    Front Yard Spring Clean-Up

“The nicest thing about the rain is that it always stops.  Eventually.” -A.A. Milne It’s a rainy day here in small-town Pennsylvania.  We haven’t had the nicest weather the past two or so days, really.  So, I thought today would be the perfect day to share our front yard Spring clean-up!  With all the rain I thought it seemed appropriate, since flowers need water to survive and all! Stay around until the end because I’ve got a really cool yard DIY that is well worth checking out! [adToAppearHere] To start, as you can see, our yard needed some serious help!  Last year Ryan and I mapped out a landscaped garden.…
