Maternity Workout Wear with PinkBlush Maternity

Hi friends! *Disclaimer: Today’s post is sponsored by PinkBlush Maternity.  I was given a free product in exchange for a review of that product.  However, I only promote products and brands that I truly love and stand behind.  All opinions are my own. If you’ve been following along with my posts as of late, or if you follow me on instagram, you know that Ryan and I will be welcoming a baby into our little family in August! We are so super excited and already can’t wait for this little one to get here! I’m still pretty early on in my pregnancy (14 weeks this week) but I’ve read a few…

Get Your Mind Committed to Running

Hello there! If you saw in my post from last week (check it out here), then you know that last weekend, Ryan and I ran in the Wine and Dine Half Marathon.  We both set personal best records (Ryan ran it in 2:1o and I ran it in 2:44) which we are both super proud of! However, we are now on the down(up?)slope toward our full marathon in January which is mildly terrifying because it’s our first full ever! As I’ve talked about before (and most recently in that post from last week), running is a really mental thing meaning, if your mind isn’t committed, your body isn’t going to…

7 Tips for Training on Vacation

Hi friends! Ryan and I are back from our coast-to-coast travel adventures from California to Florida and back home to PA!  Though I’m happy to be home and sleeping in my own bed, I’m not super excited to go back to work and back to real life. If I’ve learned anything while I’ve been training for this marathon, it’s that training doesn’t stop just because you’re on…

What I Learned When I Did & Did Not Train

Hey there and happy Tuesday! Over this past weekend, I ran, for the second year, in the Wine & Dine 1/2 Marathon here in Walt Disney World.  Not only was this race amazing and so fun, it also taught me an insane lesson on what my body can really do. Do you ever, as an athlete, see others in your sport doing these amazing things and you think to yourself, “wow…I could never do that!”? Yeah, me too, friend. This 1/2 marathon gave me a huge amount of confidence in my abilities as a runner.  To give you some background: I was an athlete my entire life, playing different sports throughout…

An Insanely Casual Outfit + When I’m Going To Be Posting + An Update On My Marathon Training

Hi guys! I’m so sorry that I’ve been a little MIA this past week.  I’m trying to get into a new schedule now that school has started back up and I don’t have much free time during my work day to get blog work done.  However, I’ve got the entire weekend free so I’m going to be doing a lot of pre-planning and I’ll be back in business! So anyway, if you’ve been following my marathon training program, you may have noticed that I haven’t posted about that, specifically in a few weeks. Lately, I’ve been doing a lot of thinking about this blog, where I’m going with it and…
