Get Your Mind Committed to Running

Hello there! If you saw in my post from last week (check it out here), then you know that last weekend, Ryan and I ran in the Wine and Dine Half Marathon.  We both set personal best records (Ryan ran it in 2:1o and I ran it in 2:44) which we are both super proud of! However, we are now on the down(up?)slope toward our full marathon in January which is mildly terrifying because it’s our first full ever! As I’ve talked about before (and most recently in that post from last week), running is a really mental thing meaning, if your mind isn’t committed, your body isn’t going to…

An Insanely Casual Outfit + When I’m Going To Be Posting + An Update On My Marathon Training

Hi guys! I’m so sorry that I’ve been a little MIA this past week.  I’m trying to get into a new schedule now that school has started back up and I don’t have much free time during my work day to get blog work done.  However, I’ve got the entire weekend free so I’m going to be doing a lot of pre-planning and I’ll be back in business! So anyway, if you’ve been following my marathon training program, you may have noticed that I haven’t posted about that, specifically in a few weeks. So I decided that I needed to make things easier for myself because well, that’s how I have to deal with…

    25-Week Full Marathon Training Program

Guys…I have a confession to make. I totally fell off the wagon with my marathon training.  I went really hard on week one and then it kind of fizzled out with being in Orlando and then we went up to Ryan’s family’s and then I just kind of didn’t keep at it.  I’m notorious for this. However, I am super determined to get back on track starting on Monday.  Monday would be the 25-week mark and on the Hal Higdon program I was using, my long run for this week would be 4.5 miles.  That’s super do-able! So I’ve decided that I need to keep myself accountable.  So, I worked…
