How I Use My Planner for Multiple Purposes

Happy Monday Morning!

I’m not sure about you, but personally, I’m obsessed with my paper planner.  I’ve had a serious love for paper planners for a very long time and I’ve gone through my fair share of various paper planners.  I’ve purchased a wide range of planners over the years.  I’ve purchased the bare minimum you find at a Walmart of Target for less than $10 all the way up to a very sought after paper planner from an Etsy shop for more than $50.  Over the years I’ve learned what I like in a planner, what I dislike in a planner, what I need and how I use it.  All of those years of trial and error have brought me to my current favorite planner: Blue Sky Ashley G 2017-2018 Weekly & Monthly Planner in the Black Galaxy print.  This link will take you to the exact one I’ve got, on Amazon.

I’m completely in love with this planner.  I’m actually really terrible with time management (as if you didn’t all already know that considering my posts are late…) and I love the hourly breakdown in this planner.  I’m really type-A and so having a physical layout of a full day, hour-by-hour is really helpful for me.  Of all the planners I’ve had, this one takes the cake.

So let me tell you a bit about how I use this planner.  For a while, I was using two separate planners: one for blog stuff and one for everything else.  However, I hated having two separate things.  So, I got to thinking about how I could utilize one planner for everything I need: blog planner, fitness planner, everyday planner and more.  Luckily, since this planner is so versatile, it allows me to use it for multiple purposes.

I recently got the Cricut Explore Air 2 Machine and I’ve been LOVING it!  I’m still learning about everything this baby can do but so far, I’m finding it immensely versatile and useful for so many random projects (on a sidetone, I’ve got an Etsy shop OrchardandLeap if you want to check it out!).  I’d been scrolling on Etsy once I knew that I wanted to use my planner for multiple purposes, trying to find cute planner stickers.  I was on Pinterest one day and saw a link for printable planner stickers that you could just print out on sticker paper and cut out using your Cricut.  This has by far been the best idea I have found!  I purchased a pack of the Avery Clear Full-Sheet Shipping Labels  and I simply find the SVG file for stickers I’d like to print and I follow the easy step-by-step instructions to create beautiful, cheap stickers!  I often find these on Pinterest for free but I’ve also purchased a couple of different files from sellers on Etsy if I can’t find what I’m looking for on Pinterest for free.

Here’s a list with links to all of the stickers I use (you can also find them here in my planner sticker-specific Pinterest board where I’ll continue to update the stickers that I’m using and loving!):

I love that I’ve finally found a planner that perfectly suits my needs.  I love being able to just have one planner to use for everything going on in my life and I absolutely love that I can customize and change up my organizational systems, using stickers that really bring my personality to the pages of my planner!

What planners do y’all love using?  What types of systems do you have in place for keeping everything organized?
